1. The government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the One WaSH National Programme (CWA-II) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of civil work, supply and installation of pipes and fittings, supply and installation of electromechanical equipment's for gonka rural piped system at Esra Adi Wojerat Woreda.
2. Tigray Bureau of Water and Energy now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Procurement of civil work, supply and installation of pipes and fittings, and supply and installation of electromechanical equipment for the Gonka rural piped system at Esra Adi Wojerat Woreda Time of Completion is 240 days and no margin of preference applies.
3. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank's "Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers Projects Financing, dated July 2016, revised November 2017 and August 2018 ("Procurement Regulations"), and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Mr. Samson Berhane Procurement specialist, +251-9-89-84-77-01 sbgirmity@gmail.com Room No 111 new building and inspect the Bidding document during office hours 2:00-6:30 and 8:00-11:30 local time.
5. The Bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 1,400.00 ETB (One Thousand Four Hundred Ethiopian Birr). The method of payment will be paying to the Bureau Cashier in person. The document will be sent by in person.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below Tigray Water and Energy Burea on or before 3:00 Local Time, 20 February 2025. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders' designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below Tigray Water and Energy Bureau at 3:15 Local Time on 20 February 2025.
7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of 900,000 ETB (Nine Hundred Thousand Ethiopian Birr). Bid Documents will be purchased from OWNF procurement Section Room No. 111 New Building, Starting from January 21, 2025.
8. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder's beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
