Call for Consultancy on Local software development and IT installation

BACKGROUND

CST Ethiopia represents the overseas development and humanitarian agencies of the Catholic Church from England and Wales (CAFOD), Scotland (SCIAF), and Ireland (Trócaire) in Ethiopia. The three agencies have over 40 years of experience in international development and humanitarian response and are each member of worldwide networks, including Caritas Internationalis. Currently, the three agencies jointly operate a single, integrated country programme in Ethiopia through the legal entity CST Ethiopia.

CST is a partnership organization and for the ICSP project it is planning to support the implementing partners on selected IT system establishment and strengthening as part of its capacity strengthening. The technological tools that assists partners of CST by helping them to work with greater productivity in forwarding the overall organizational mission. To that end the IT Infrastructure should enable internal and external organizational communications, enable measurement and evaluation and of projects and initiatives. Internet and other networking technology should be there as a basis for other productivity applications.

Following an in-depth review of the IT Infrastructure CST is looking consultancy work for local operating software development, extension of networking, server installation and related.

Bidding will be conducted through the Competitive Bidding Procedures based on CST Procurement Guidelines and is open to all potential consultancy services.

Bidders should submit renewed license for the current year, VAT certificate and Taxpayer Identifica- tion number (TIN).

Bids must be sealed and delivered to the address above on 5th Working day from bid opening. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 2% of the bid price and in CPO (Customer payment order) or in equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency to our cashier. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders'/ representatives who choose to attend and date of opening will be announced through email.

The BID documents shall be submitted in person at CST Mekelle office around Homeland Hotel, The deadline for submission is Thursday April 25, 2024, at 5:00 PM to bid box prepared for this purpose.

CST reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid at any time prior to award of the contract without giving any reason thereof.
