Bidding will be conducted through the national competitive bidding (NCB) procedure as specified in the guidelines for procurement under the government of federal democratic of Ethiopia.

 Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Tigray national state Bureau of water resource qualification requirement include

ITB 3.2(a) the mandated public body for the registration is Ministry or Water irrigation and Energy

ITB3.2(b) Renewed or valid trade license on WWCC for the fiscal year 2008 registration certificate from ministry of water , irrigation and energy for the fiscal year 2008, tax clearance certificate ,Vat declaration for the month December 2015(Tahsas,2008) ,VAT registration ,Tin number ,suppliers registration certificate and nay relevant professional practice certificate.

ITB 18.1 The written confirmation of authorization of Sign on behalf of the bidder shall consist of fully initialed and sealed bid documents in general bidders should have to be provided one “original” technical and documents in a separate envelopes and each 2(two) copies of technical and financial documents also should have to be provide in a separate envelopes too.

  1. A complete set A complete set of bidding documents in English may  be purchased by interested bidders upon submission of a written application to the address below and payment of a non refundable fee birr 150 on working days (Monday-Friday) . Method of payment will be in cash or check against receipt.
  2. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before April 11/2016 at 3:00 PM Electronic bidding shall not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. And bids will be opened physically the same date at 3:30 PM in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below all bids shall accompanied by a Bid security (CPO) of 130,000 in Ethiopian Birr
  3. The Bid price shall be valid for a period of 60(sixty days) days after bid opening
  4. The bureau reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid
