Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ)Internal/External Vacancy Announcement No. 17/2019Position: Intern, community mobilization & cooperative development- Place of Work: Addis Ababa- Required Candidate: One- Duration of Contract: For Three month with possibility of extension for Six Month- Application deadline: February 9, 2019 Main Responsibilities• The Intern will work within the Micro hydropower/mini-grid team and will receive hands on work experience assisting in:• tasks with relation to our daily activities on community development, data collection, cooperative agreements, hydro power and grid, and development of productive use of energy, gender balance and energy justice• Set up and organize meetings and workshops• compile/summarize reports• draft/write minute of meetings• general office work• compile data and work on our database for MHP sites in EthiopiaKnowledge Management• Develop file for knowledge products such as planning document, back to office reporting, monthly quarterly and annual reporting,• Contributes to the design, storing, processing and dissemination of information and knowledge• Documents and disseminates information on project experiences and outcomes.• Supports the maintenance and updating of the project-inventory of materials relevant for the mini gride component.• Supports maintaining the project documentation and filing system in consultation with the coordinator of the component as well as with the M&E and KMC sections.• Support collection of information for case studies, community of best practices and success story for publications. • Minimum of BA degree in social science: Cooperative development, business management, economics, sociology, engineering or any other related field;
