Awash BankVacancy Announcement Position: Principal, IT Service Management Officer-Channel Services Job Summary: • The job holder is responsible in day-to-day operations of the IT Services related to Support and Monitoring of Core Services and e-banking products including but not limited to Core Banking, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Mobile Wallet, Agency Banking, bill payments, etc. The principal Services Management Officer oversees a number of key functions within the IT units that enable the delivery of a high quality service to end users, and to ensure Service Support and Service Delivery processes are in place to meet business needs. Maintain high performing service support functions including and IT Service Desk, Desktop Support and VIP Support with Ownership of the Incident, Request, Change and Escalation processes, ensuring high levels of performance in these processes, accurate reporting and establishing service improvement activities when required.

Qualification & Experience:
• BA Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, plus a Minimum of Seven (7) years of management experience in IT service management out of which 3 years in supervisory position.
Skills and Certifications
• General understanding and very good knowledge of windows server, Linux operating systems and networking technologies,
• Very good knowledge in ITSM process (Incident, Problem and Change Management) disciplines and preferably ITIL foundation certified.
• Previous Service Experience in Banking applications, Comprehensive Industry Knowledge, Management Experience, Strong Customer-Facing Skills, Strong Written and Verbal Communication, Self-Motivated, Troubleshooting and Creative Problem-Solving.
