Description | United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Vacancy AnnouncementPosition: Logistics Liaison Assistant Place of Work: JigjigaJob Description• Logistics Liaison Assistant who ensure a co-ordination and management of logistical arrangements for projects operating in the Somali region in liaison with the Somalia Regional Government in line with UNDP CPD and the relevant projects in the region. The job holder will work with other programme team members to develop and service effective working relationships with key government and other partners and counterparts in the Ethiopian Somali Regional state. Desired Skills | Job Requirement • B.A/B.Sc. degree in Management, Public and Business Administration, Development Studies, or a related area; or College Diploma in the aforementioned area of studies. • Interested applicants must have at least one year (four years with College Diploma) relevant professional working experience in the Somali region; proven ability to coordinate, work and establish working relationship with multiple stakeholders (government, UN agencies, NGOs, private sector, civil society, etc.) and good knowledge about UN/UNDP rules and procedures and previous working experience in the UN or other international organizations (desirable). |
