Description | JOB SUMMARY Responsible for planning, development and implementation of all of the Organization’s marketing and sales strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal, developing a successful marketing and brand portfolio strategy. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Overall Portfolio Development: ensuring a total portfolio of beer brands generating long term growth for the company.
- Consumer & Brand Marketing: Plan & execute above-the-line activities
- Customer & Channel Marketing: Plan & execute below-the-line activities
- Product Management: Planning, forecasting and development of product and POS
- Research: Assure sales analysis & reporting, market intelligence through market surveys
- Commercial Business Development: developing new commercial opportunities via own innovation or 3rd party partnerships /brands
- Management of licensed brands
- Work with the Board and Chief Executive to set the sales target for the year
- Manage the expenditure of the commercial budget across the year with the support of the Accounts Manager
- Managing of the sales team as well as the direct sales.
- Creating a relationship of partnership with the senior level executive of the company in order to identify and then pursue the different scopes for business development.
- Coordinating with the sales, marketing and executive team of the organization in order to make it function smoothly.
- Planning and executing of both short and long term revenue deriving strategies of the organization.
- Managing the different aspects of the commercial field of the organization.
- Providing the company with the driving force through successful handling of both short and long-term commercial ventures.
- Maintaining a strong grasp of the guidelines pertaining to the sales practices of the state and ensuring that the company adheres to these guidelines.
- Other duties commensurate with the level of the post, as determined by the Chief Executive
Job Requirements: QUALIFICATION: - BA Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing Management or related fields
WORK EXPERIENCE: - a minimum of 12 years of experiences of which 5 years is in a Managerial Position in an FMCG industry
LANGUAGE SKILLS: - Very good command of English and Amharic
COMPUTER SKILLS: - good command of MS Office word , Excel and power point
SPECIAL SKILLS - Highly responsible individual and greatly motivated.
