Description | Ethiopian Red Cross Society (ERCS)Vacancy AnnouncementJob Title: Senior System Improvement and Innovation Officer- Work Unit: Quality Assurance and Learning Office- Terms of employment: Permanent after probation period- Place of Work: Addis Ababa- Grade: 12- Position required: One- Salary: birr 16,683.00 KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS- Participates in preparing and execution of plans and budgets of the work unit; and in participation with major internal and external stakeholders, initiates studies of organization and methods & work processes; reviews, modifies and streamlines existing operation systems in a way that ensures cost-effective resource utilization, quality service delivery as well as learning and growth;- Undertake review studies that strengthens the managerial functions/ systems of the Society for effective attainment of organizational goals; Participates in studies undertaken to assess and revisit existing ERCS policies, procedures, rules and programs in place for improved performance;- Undertakes changes and improvement studies on work methods, systems, facility layout, policies, procedures and other organization development activities based on need assessment and requests from work units; Coaches change as reviewed facilitates discussions among change implementers; and Provides technical support on areas of change management & Systems/ performance improvement as enquired;- Generates new ideas and creativity, develops alternatives and recommendations, frames directions of the NS/work unit by looking into various perspectives that has greater impact on the NS;- Undertakes & facilitates research in areas of organizational development, performance improvement & programs operations to maintain & transfer knowledge- Identifies tasks that can be retained centrally and those to be delegated to branches based on the Charter; develops guidelines that defines the relationship between branches and the National Head Quarters;- Explores innovative methods and practices of building up the Society's knowledge capital & its organizational & operational efficiency & effectiveness; |
