መግለጫ | Ireland EmbassyVacancy AnnouncementPosition: International Institutions Liaison Officer - Maternity Cover Job Summary:• Facilitating partnerships with the African Union, IGAD and United Nations Economic Commission for Africa• Ensuring that multilateral funding partnerships are comprehensively managed in line with best practice for Standard Grant Management and procedures for financial accountability.• Providing co-ordination and administrative support to the AUPG co-chair.• Reporting on developments at the African Union, IGAD and United Nations Economic Commission for Africa which are of relevance to Ireland’s international policy objectives. |

ተፈላጊ ችሎታ | Required Experience and Competencies • Academic qualification in international relations or related fields such as governance, economics or international development to at least bachelors level; • A proven track record of working on international issues, and within international fora and at least three years relevant professional experience; • Knowledge and understanding of multilateral institutions in the Horn of Africa. • Good communication, networking and influencing skills; • Demonstration of good organization and event management skills; • Excellent fluency in English (oral and written with excellent drafting skills) • Excellent IT skills (use of word, excel, powerpoint, outlooks, etc.) |
